The Lion Steel KUR is a finely made Italian knife. Designed by Pensato Michele, the KUR Metamorphosis sports a stonewashed 3.43" blade of Sleipner steel (D2). The handle materials are what makes this model interesting. It features coated aluminum scales that change from black to camouflage when heated to 73 degrees fahrenheit. The action is smooth as glass due to a ball bearing pivot, and the flipper extending from the spine of the handle allows for one handed opening. This one is best utilized as an everyday carry knife, and it has an integral pocket clip as well. The KUR Metamorphosis won the 2016 Blade Show Overall Knife of the Year Award.
