The Alden is named after the Norwegian island of Alden. Alden is still an important landmark for Fishermen coming home from the sea. The island is situated just off the coast from where the Helle factory is situated. The Alden has a stainless steel blade (12C27) with traditional Helle curly birch handles that have been impregnated with linseed oil for a superior feel and grip. Stainless steel fittings contrast and separate the handle from the blade. It has a small finger guard to fit in the genuine leather pouch style sheath. This is a wonderful looking knife with a well balanced feel. Truly Norwegian cutlery class, from The Classic Edge!
